When Javier Alvarez looked at the sweets market, he noticed a lack of decadent but fun chocolate flavors. Coconut pairs naturally with chocolate allowing both flavors to be tasted individually and together at the same time.
With the popularity of the ‘Classic Combo’, Alvarez looked to increase his product assortment while staying within the tropical flavorsphere. Thus he added Guava, Banana, and Lime to the mix. Each true to the flavor profile and unique amongst themselves.
Worked with an agency’s client to develop multiple directions for their protein/snack bar. The client’s name has been changed to reflect the design and to anonymity.
EvoBar was developed to appeal to the natural/organic consumers who also want protein without all the sugar in most snack bars. The tagline ‘Snacking. Evolved’ creates a full storyline for market positioning in that context.
SPARTAN was developed to appeal to the modern gladiator, someone who sees a goal and wants to push harder. Each flavor has a metallic color associated, the first original three colors being silver, gold, and bronze. This bar design is meant to sit in a luxury workout space such as an Equinox Gym or Flywheel studio.
A local coffee roaster who wanted to rebrand for new distribution. With a name like The Bureau of Better Beans the idea to design alongside the palette and look of Monopoly became apparent. Especially since the founder is an avid board game enthusiast.
The Latin phrase ‘Capulus Pluribus quia Omnis’ translates to ‘More Coffee for everyone’!
